With the explosion of virtual influencers, Silicone Molds have become the ultimate goal for every home baker and professionals alike. A Silicone Mold can become your best friend if you know just how to treat them right. They come in various shapes and colors. They're naturally nonstick, flexible, brightly colored, and delightfully inexpensive.

There have been many views about the cake molding tool but everyone wants to at least try them once. If you are also interested in the new-age molds, here are some tips on how to bake a perfect cake using the Silicone Baking Molds.

The specialty of a Silicone Mold:

Unlike the traditional metal molds, some available silicon molds can also be used without greasing them first. Yes, it is an option for a few products such as Icinginks silicon molds. However, it is always recommended to grease them first for the best results. The results sometimes may vary according to the type of the particular cake mixture. They are definitely easy-to-use and easy-to-clean.

So according to the instructions of a particular silicon mold you can choose the greasing part. You can use spray, butter, Crisco, or even oil for the purpose. After that, just pour the cake batter into the mold and pop it into the oven. The process is pretty much the same; just the hassles get reduced. The silicon molds support no sticking or tearing while taking the cakes out of them.

Caution to take while working with Silicone Molds:

The only downside is the concern of spilling. Some modified products in the market prevent spilling while putting them in the oven as well. However, the sad truth is that many of them can make it a mess. You poured the batter into the mold while it sat on the counter and then tried to move it to the oven. Better Went Everywhere! The trick is to set your mold on an old cookie sheet before filling. When it’s time to bake, move the whole baking sheet with the molds to the oven.

Now that you have put them in the oven and baked carefully following the temperature specifications, your cakes are ready to get out of the molds. Wait for a Lil more till it cools down. Silicone seems to cool much faster than the metal ones. This will make popping out your cake much easier.

How to maintain the Silicone Mold?

Make sure you clean the cake molds properly and honestly, silicone molds are very easy to clean. But, they also need to stay that way. As you are not using any parchment paper or butter paper, it is even more important to clean them properly. Leftover, stuck food particles will only make your new baked goods stick more. To your relief, the silicone cake molds are dishwasher safe. Hurrah!

After cleaning your molds, store them with special care as well. For hygiene and longevity, your silicone products should be wrapped or stored in a plastic bin. The molds don't usually develop stretch or scar under normal conditions. They don't break easily but can change in shape if not stored properly. So never place anything on top of them that might weigh them down and deform the molds.

Multiple Use of Icinginks Silicone Molds:

The silicone cake border molds are the cake molding tools that are surely a miracle of science. The same molds you use for cakes can also be used for Fondant, Sugar, Candy, Chocolate, Butter, Cream Cheese Mints, as well as, Resin, Wax, Clay, Polymer Clay, Soap, Cold Porcelain. However, it is always recommended to keep the molds for edible and non-edibles separate. Just to be sure.
