Icinginks™ Fast-Drying Edible Poppy Paints for Matte to Semi-Gloss Finish on Chocolate, Isomalt, Ganache, Candy Melts, Cookies, Macarons, Royal Icing, Glaze Icing, Fondant, Gumpaste, Wafer Paper, Candy, Modeling Chocolate

Icinginks offers premium quality FDA-approved edible food-grade poppy paints. Paint your confectionary item to your heart’s content. It’s an alcohol-based food-paint that dries fast. Without gap, i.e., in a single sitting, you can create a multi-layer impressive design. Unlike regular food paints, it does not rub off or smudge once set.

Product Highlights

  1. Poppy Paint can be used on any dry, solid confectionery surface of the type as follows: Chocolate, Isomalt, Ganache, Candy Melts, Cookies, Macarons, Royal Icing, Glaze Icing, Fondant, Gumpaste, Wafer Paper, Candy, or Modeling Chocolate
  2. Dry times per layer of Poppy Paint are as follows:
  • Poppy Paint - 10-30 seconds
  • Poppy Paint Pearlescents - 30-60 seconds
  • Poppy Paint Super Shine - 5-10 minutes

Note: The range accounts for temperature and humidity.

  1. These poppy paints do not adhere to a wet surface. Do not apply the edible paints on porous surfaces prepared out of the following items as the alcohol will absorb into the confection: Gelatin, Whipped Cream, or Buttercream.

General Practice for the Best Outcome

SHAKE WELL: Before using Poppy Paint, ensure it’s well mixed. In most of the color containers, the paint settles down to the bottom, and the separation between viscous and liquid is clearly visible except in the case of white and black ones where it’s hard to notice even though it exists.

Shake vigorously until the color appears uniform from top to bottom. For colors like black and white where you cannot see the separation, shake even longer than the others just to be sure.

TIP: If the shaking doesn’t work well, which you likely to witness in case the paint has set for a long time, squeeze the bottom of the bottle to loosen the sediment before shaking.
