Spooky Deliciously Halloween Cakes

The wait is over, 31st October or the day of the dead is coming. Along with it streets full of children dressed as monsters and kids asking for “Trick or Treat” will also occur. This Halloween delight little ghouls, surprise your child and make your friends think you are a cake master by making a Spooky Monster Halloween cake using ICINGINKS Frosting Sheets and Edible Ink Printers. As soon as the Monster Festival aka Halloween the Day of the Dead ends, it's time to celebrate the day with your family and friends. The best way to celebrate the festival is to carve a cake into a freaky looking monster; plus you need not be afraid, these ghoulish twists on your cakes are simple to make and are fun to eat. spiderwebcupcakes We Will Be Making a Red Velvet with an image of our favorite monster Cake to Celebrate the festival of the Dead, and here are the ingredients required:-



  • 3 1/2 cups plain flour, sifted

  • 170 grams butter, softened

  • 2 cups of sugar

  • 3 large eggs, at room temperature

  • 6 tablespoons of red food coloring

  • 3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa

  • 1.5 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract

  • .5 teaspoon of salt

  • 1.5 cups of buttermilk

  • 1.5 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar

  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda


To Make the Red Velvet Cake:-



  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  • Add butter and sugar in bowl and beat till it becomes very light and fluffy.

  • Add eggs to the mixture, one at a time beat well after adding each egg.

  • Add the food coloring, cocoa, and mix them form a paste.

  • Add the paste to the batter and mix well.

  • Add 1/3 buttermilk and 1/3 flour to the batter beat well and repeat the same with the remaining portions.

  • Add vinegar and baking soda to the mix.Then put the batter between two pans. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean.

Choose your favorite monster character and print it on a frosting sheet. Cover whole cake with a thick layer of icing. Remove the plastic sheet from the back of frosting sheet and then put the edible image on the top of your cake. Use some jam to make your cake look like it is covered in blood.
