When to refill? Check the condition of the ink holding sponge. It goes dry when the cartridge goes empty.
How to refill? Do not refill cartridges inside printer. Remove it (this will reset your chip) from the printer, and safely refill it on a desk using injector syringe provide with our refill kit. Keep separate syringes for different colors.
How much ink shall I refill into the ink cartridge? Take note of the user-manual provided with the edible ink printer to know the capacity of your ink cartridge. But always under refill it. Filling it to the brim may result into leakage.
When to discard your ink cartridge? 3-4 refill cycles are enough. Excessive repeated usage can wear out cartridge case which may not produce right colors.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Regular ink or ink cartridges are never a substitute for edible ink or ink cartridges. Mixing of regular ink with edible ink will contaminate the latter, thereby making it unfit for health.
Icinginks edible ink is best to use with Icinginks empty edible cartridges. Also, we recommend you not to mix Icinginks edible ink with ink from other brands. Doing so, may spoil the resolution or cause recognition issue. Sometimes, mixing results into coagulation of ink which may damage the hardware of the printer, particularly the printhead.
