If this doesn’t scream ‘teenage girl’, then we don’t know what does! Check out this super fun @vspink inspired cake created for a brand new teenager, complete with handcrafted (& edible) makeup to dress this beauty for it’s big party debut!

One of the reasons we loved working on this cake is because we got to work together again with one of Sleepy Jean’s most treasured clients. This girl’s got the vision (coupled with a heart of gold), and we just furiously scribble notes and make it happen! It’s easy to make cakes so fun and beautiful when you love the people who are involved behind the scenes!

This cake was designed to be a surprise, and the whole party tuned out to be a success! Three layers of chocolate blackout cake with vanilla buttercream made up the inside, and the exterior got a super smooth coating of pink buttercream, followed by light pink fondant dots, a fondant bow, a super fun sparkly silver cake topper, and LOVE PINK varsity lettering courtesy of our amazing @icinginks frosting sheets! Each piece of makeup was hand crafted with love to adorn the silvery sparkle cake board, and we even added touches of bling to bring the whole teen theme together!
