Crafted with care, the Edible Art Paint range is gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and peanut-free — completely vegan and safe for use on all edible surfaces.
Ingredients: Propylene glycol, glycerine, alcohol (14%), glaze (shellac, ethanol 16%), colorings.
Contains alcohol. Keep away from children in liquid form and store in a cool, dry place.
There’s a lot of lustre in each bottle! Shake it thoroughly before and during use. If the mixture looks transparent, it means the ingredients haven’t combined fully. You can also stir gently with the end of your brush before shaking again.
Take some time to play with your paints. Each color behaves differently due to its unique pigmentation. Try painting on various edible surfaces — from fondant and chilled crusting buttercream cakes to macarons, modeling chocolate, sugar cookies, and marshmallows.
Important: Avoid using metallic paints on Italian or Swiss meringue buttercream as they prevent the paint from drying properly and may leave it in liquid form.
For best results, use a quality sable brush for detailed designs or a sponge for blending and texture work. Sponge techniques look particularly beautiful on buttercream, fondant, and royal icing.
Less is more. Don’t overload your brush — it’s easier to build up color than to remove it. Apply thin coats and let each one dry before adding another for deeper tones. You can add a drop of high-grade alcohol if you prefer a thinner consistency.
Keep hot soapy water and paper towels handy while painting. After finishing one color, wash your brush gently and dry it immediately. For deeper cleaning, use mild dishwashing liquid on your palm, rinse thoroughly with hot water, and dry with a paper towel before switching colors.
Allow 24 hours for the paints to air dry completely. Factors like humidity and temperature can affect drying time, so be patient. A small fan can help speed up the process.
If the paint doesn’t dry properly, it may leave a slightly bitter aftertaste, so ensure adequate drying time before storing or refrigerating your desserts. When using on buttercream, always let the paint dry fully before chilling the cake again.
Whether you’re a professional baker or a hobby artist, the Glamorous Gold Edible Paint Collection is your go-to choice for precise detailing, bold metallic finishes, and effortless creativity. Each color opens new possibilities for edible artistry — giving your sweets the professional touch they deserve.
